At Terrantai, each room has been thoughtfully designed with deep respect for the local history and ancestral architecture of San Pedro de Atacama. Located in the heart of the village, our rooms — including private bathrooms — range from 14 m² to 35 m², offering a warm, intimate, and authentic atmosphere.

All the décor at the hotel has been carefully crafted by Atacameño artisans: handwoven wool blankets, hand-painted lamps, and more.

Intiwasi Rooms

“Intiwasi” comes from Quechua and means “House of the Sun.” At Terrantai, these rooms represent our deep connection with the history and energy of the desert.
All rooms are located in the original 19th-century house, preserving adobe walls, high ceilings, and the characteristic lacustrine stone corridors that reflect the heritage architecture of San Pedro de Atacama. Each Intiwasi space is designed to offer warmth, silence, and an authentic atmosphere—perfect for resting after exploring the Altiplano.

Intiwasi Standard

Intiwasi Muya

Andina Rooms

Inspired by the serenity of the natural surroundings and designed for true rest, our Andean category pays tribute to the majesty of the Andes Mountains and the culture that thrives around them. These rooms offer an authentic resting experience, surrounded by the desert’s natural elements and architecture created to connect with the landscape. Built with noble materials and thoughtful orientation, they provide abundant natural light and privileged views of the pool, garden, or the village church.

Andina Pool View

(Maximum occupancy: 3 people)

“Armakuna” is the Quechua word for “pool.” These rooms offer immediate access to the pool area, making them an excellent choice for those looking to refresh and enjoy the desert sun. Located near the Reception, they receive abundant natural light throughout most of the day, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Andean View Of The Garden
