HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL CHARM

for adventurous travelers

Terrantai Lodge | Hotel San Pedro de Atacama, Chile is part of the so-called ‘typical zone’ of San Pedro. We are a small native hotel in the heart of San Pedro de Atacama.

Terrantai is a historic 19th century house with a unique history and location. In 1980, the Chilean government declared the buildings built around the church of San Pedro de Atacama as part of the “Historic Sector”. The hotel was built in 1996. The reception and lobby areas, as well as the rooms along the original corridors, have been preserved in their original state, preserving the originality and identity of the Atacama´s architecture.

For us, the preservation of the cultural heritage of this historic house is a priority.
